One of the best advantages of living at Garnette Gardens is the service.  We take a forward look to how personal and health related services are offered to our residents.  While many senior communities “bundle” their services with their monthly rates, we believe that our residents should “see what they are paying for”.  By offering  “a la carte” style services, our residents are able to choose the services they need, when they need them.  Both personal and health related services are offered to our residents to help them stay as independent as possible, for as long as possible. 

Apartment Features

Apartments at Garnette Gardens were designed with our residents in mind and help keep them as independent as possible, for as long as possible.  Offering one and two bedroom, private apartments that include: a full kitchen, private bathroom with low-step showers, our residents find everything they need to help with the “little things”.  We even went as far as raising the outlets throughout the apartment so residents wouldn’t need to bend over as far as they would in a normal home to use the outlets.  We’ve also included an emergency response system so when a resident needs to contact a care provider, they can, right at their fingertips! All utilities (except telephone) are included with the monthly rent which includes: television, heat and electricity. 

Throughout your apartment you’ll notice the design of the apartment that makes your life easier...lever handle door hardware, wider halls and doorways, wall-to-wall carpeting, single handle faucets, electrical outlets placed high for easy reach, high lighting level, raised television and telephone jacks.  Now enter the bathroom and notice even more special touches...grab bars, walk-in showers higher height toilets.  All of these and more to make your life at Garnette Gardens more enjoyable!

Community Features

Garnette Gardens was created especially for our residents, offering relaxation and peace of mind that can only come from living in a community designed to be responsive to changing needs over time.  Our residents are encouraged to continue the lifestyle that they are now accustomed to.  For a moment, picture living in a community that where going to the movies is only an elevator ride away...a computer/library where emailing the grandchildren is just down the hall...or has a beauty salon or barber shop around the corner...visiting with friends in the main Fireplace Room or listening to a piano recital in the main lobby on our grand piano...or an organized workout program mere paces away.  A world of intelligent and interesting people are right outside the front door!  An elevator is centrally located making it easier to get around and utilize all floors of the community. 

What is Assisted Living?

The definition of Catered Living is a choice of services, as you need them.  We truly believe that residents living at Garnette Gardens, should only pay for the services that they need.  It is our belief that family and friends play a key role in the livelihood of our residents.  That is why we feel it is important that they help in the development of our residents service plans.  Catered Living offers residents living at Garnette Gardens have the choice of services—whether medical or personal assistance—when you need it.
