Awards

January 27th, 2010 - Welcome Home Management Company is proud to recognize the senior living communities who have achieved high level of excellence in senior living. Criteria for the award include employment best practices and employee satisfaction, resident and family satisfaction, resident and staff safety, financial performance, matching resident needs to care plans throughout a resident’s stay, and overall occupancy.  Each of the performance objectives is to assure the proper and desired level of service is provided.  Best Community Awards for the calendar year of 2009 went to Garnette Gardens of Redwood Falls, Minnesota; Goldfinch Estates of Fairmont, Minnesota; Windmill Ponds of Alexandria, Minnesota; and Twin Town Villa, of Breckenridge, Minnesota.

The awards were presented at our Annual Winter Conference in Hutchinson, Minnesota on January 27th, 2010.

January 27th, 2009 - Welcome Home Health Care announced that Windmill Ponds of Alexandria, Minnesota was awarded "Best Places to Work" for 2008.  Each year, Welcome Home Health Care surveys all employees to gain an overall satisfaction level of the staff at any location.  In 2008, Windmill Ponds scored the highest overall employee satisfaction rate of 90%.  Accepting the award on behalf of Windmill Ponds was Sue Jutz, Director of Resident Services. Windmill Ponds is managed by Welcome Home Management, Inc. of Hutchinson, MN and is a community based non-profit organization.

January 28th, 2008 - Welcome Home Health Care announced that Windmill Ponds of Alexandria, Minnesota; Potter Ridge of Red Wing, Minnesota; Garnette Gardens of Redwood Falls, Minnesota; Keelson Harbour of Spirit Lake, Iowa were awarded the companies highest honor of Best Community Award for the calendar year 2007.  Windmill Ponds recently transitioned to offering a full array of senior assisted living services.  The Award was made at the company’s annual meeting at Breezy Point, Minnesota at the end of January.

Criteria for the award include employment best practices and employee satisfaction, resident and family satisfaction, resident and staff safety, financial performance, matching resident needs to care plans throughout a resident’s stay, and overall occupancy.  Each of the performance objectives is to assure the proper and desired level of service is provided.  Windmill Ponds scored very high in each of the measured categories.
