Excelsior Place was created especially for our residents, offering relaxation and peace of mind that can only come from living in a community designed to be responsive to changing needs over time.  our residents are encouraged to continue the lifestyle that they are now accustomed to.  For a moment, picture living in a community that is dedicated to you.  For instance, and activity and wellness program that is designed around your interests and your health...or has a beauty salon or barber shop around the corner...visiting with friends in the main fireplace room or listening to a piano recital on the grand piano...or an organized workout program mere paces away.  A world of intelligent people are right outside your front door!  An elevator is centrally located making it easier to get around and utilize all floors of the community.

Activity and Wellness program

Activities and wellness programming are a very important part of what we do at Excelsior Place.  Our activity program is designed around the resident and what they enjoy doing.  We call our activity program "A Part of You".  A Part of You is a resident based activity philosophy that puts our own residents experiences, hobbies or their likes as the focus.  Activities are not just about games and entertainment, but include intellectual and learning activities.

Offering an activity and wellness program that focuses on the residents, needs space.  Not only can residents enjoy one of the several common areas throughout the community, Excelsior Place has local entertainers that will come in to play and rousing games of cards and bingo can be enjoyed.  But we also focus on such interesting groups that get together to read and write poetry, or learn how to watercolor paint by local artists.  The list of activities could be endless and is up to the imagination of the residents that live in our community.

The best time in life is when you can relax and enjoy the "good life".  At Excelsior Place, our residents will find all the amenities they need to enjoy life to its fullest while maintaining their independence.

Home cooked meals

Dining and food services is an important are of care that is available to our residents.  In fact, residents love mealtime!  The focus is not just about health and good nutrition - it's about eating great food and socializing with friends.  We take special pride in our dining services offering home-cooked meals prepared right on site.  The Director of Food Services prepares all of our meals fresh each morning for our residents.  If you have a persona favorite, we invite you to our Culinary Club to share it with others and maybe even taste some new foods.  Special diets may also be available, depending on individual needs.  Each month, residents will have the opportunity to attend the Culinary Club hosted by the Director of Food Services.  Our Culinary Club is set up not only as a forum for our residents, but to learn new recipes or learn about different types of foods, or even different health choices related to food.

Independent Living

At Excelsior Place, residents will find all the amenities they need to enjoy life to its fullest while maintaining their independence.  A rich, rewarding lifestyle awaits them, providing comfort, and the peace of mind residents and their families are looking for.
